The Translation: The creators of the New Living Translation (NLT) Bible set out to create a modern translation that has the same impact of the text that the original Greek and Hebrew texts had on readers and listeners.
What Sets It Apart: The creators of the NLT translated entire thoughts and concepts into modern language that is easy to read while conveying the same meaning as written in the original text.
