Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 39
Week 39

By , About.com Guide

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Romans 5:3-4 - "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation."(NLT)

Application for Christian Teens:

The trials in our lives can be very discouraging. What Christian teen has not faced peer pressure, bad grades, or troubled relationships? It can be very easy to become totally focused on the trouble itself and lose sight of God's lessons in the process. Christian teens have something others do not, and that is God's strength. He can help us get through any trouble in our lives, as hopeless as some may seem. Then, when the trouble does pass, we can find ourselves stronger in our faith and in our lives. In your prayers this week, reflect back on troubled times. Think about the times you put the trouble in God's hands, and times you did not. What was the difference? Most likely you will see that the times you endured with God by your side, you became stronger in both your life and your faith.
