Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 36
Week 36

By , About.com Guide

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Hebrews 12:15 - "Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many."(NLT)

Application for Christian Teens:

Sometimes we have a tendency to look at our faith as something very individual. We forget that we are not the only ones God cares about, but that we are part of a body of Christ. As Christians we need to be responsible to encourage those around us to live honorable lives. It is not enough to just live our own righteous lives, but to support others and provide Godly advice in daily affairs. Think about the advice you have given others and the example you have set recently. In your prayers this week, ask God to give you a heart to be a support and encouragement to those around you.
