Sunday Scripture: 1 Timothy 4:12

1 Timothy 4:12 - "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." (NIV)

What we say...what we do...it matters. People watch us to see how we handle ourselves. As Christians, we are ambassadors of Christ to the world. We are the ones that show His example in our words and actions. Young or old, we are all called to be good examples.

When Christians let emotions get ahead of their words and actions, we can easily turn people away. We become the stereotypical hypocrites that keep people from embracing Christ. Be the person you'd want to see if you were a non-believer or even a new Christian.
