One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.
Memory Verse:
Romans 12:3 - "Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us." (NLT)
Application for Christian Teens:
Humility is something many Christian teens hear in church, but what is Biblical humility? Think of it as being humble before God. Sometimes we can get very caught up in our successes or our strengths. We like to feel good about ourselves - and teens should feel good about themselves. However, losing sight of where those good things comes from means that we can lose sight of God. It is important to enjoy our successes and be proud of our strengths, but it is even more important to thank God for those positive attributes.
