Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 11
Week 11

By Kelli Mahoney, About.com

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Romans 6:12 - "Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires."(NLT)

Application for Christian Teens:

It is easier than many Christian teens think to get caught up in sin. Sometimes Christian teens are just confused about what does and does not constitute sin. Sometimes it is just a matter of self-control. There are several ways you can build up your spiritual strength so that, when you are faced with desirable sin, you can overcome those temptations. If you do sin, which every one of us has at some time, remember that God is there to forgive.
