Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 45
Week 45

By , About.com Guide

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Psalms 86:11 - "Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you." (NLT)

Application for Christian Teens:

This verse is a great prayer to remember, because it offers us the words we so often want to say. As Christians, we strive to live in God's will. Our desire is to be more like God in our thoughts and actions. Yet, we cannot do it alone. We are easily led into temptation and sin. However, God can give us the strength and the ability to live in the way He would desire for our lives. We just need to open ourselves up to letting Him work in our lives.
