Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 42
Week 42

By Kelli Mahoney, About.com

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Romans 15:6 - "Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."(NLT)

Application for Christian Teens:

Teen movies today tend to portray teens as back-biting, gossiping, and self-absorbed. While adolescence is typically a time of self-growth, it is also a time to develop your connections to others and realize that we are all God's children. We need to do what we can to enhance our relationships with each other so that our connections honor God rather than tear each other apart. That means we need to be careful what we say about one another, how we act toward others, and how we honor God in actions and words.
