One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.
James 1:3 - "For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow."(NLT)
Application for Christian Teens:
What is faith without testing? There will be times throughout our lives when we will question and wonder about our faith. Christian teens often face those tests through criticism of the way they live or temptations from their peers. Faith if often equated with being "close minded," and teens are encouraged to give up their beliefs. However, to hold onto faith and convictions comes from strength only given by God when we ask for it. We need to allow God to confront our doubt and those that place doubt in our minds and hearts. By being open-minded enough to listen to what others have to say, praying on it, and coming back to a better understanding our faith will not only be a great witness to others, but will teach us to endure and grow stronger in our own faith.
