One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.
Memory Verse:
Job 28:28 - "And this is what he says to all humanity: ‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding."(NLT)
Application for Christian Teens:
We all strive to do good things and live a righteous life, but wisdom is important for achieving that goal. True wisdom comes from God, for He is the only one that has it all. If we develop our relationship with the Lord, He will provide us with the wisdom to know what is evil so we can put it aside. Spending time in prayer and reading the Bible help us to be wise, and when we put what we learn into practice we demonstrate to God that we understand how He wants us to live.
