Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 33
Week 33

By , About.com Guide

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

2 Timothy 2:21 - "If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. "(NLT)

Application for Christian Teens:

God can use anyone for His work. There have been people that come out of great sin that do wonderful things for the Lord. Yet, the ideal would be for us to live honorable lives that are focused on pleasing God, because it makes us more available to do His work. This verse reminds us that we should strive to be our best rather than hope God can pull us out of sin. Are we going to be perfect? Probably not. However, we should strive to live a faithful life.
