Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 30
Week 30

By Kelli Mahoney, About.com

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Jeremiah 29:11 - "I will bless you with a future filled with hope--a future of success, not of suffering."(CEV)

Application for Christian Teens:

God made a promise to the people of Judah living in Babylonia that He would bless them, and He keeps those promises. Last week we talked about suffering for your faith, but God doesn't want us to suffer. He wants us to keep our eyes on Him so that we can accept his blessings. When things get really tough, remember to ask for His blessings and know that the Lord keeps his promises.
