One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.
Memory Verse:
2 Chronicles 7:14 - "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land."(NLT)
Application for Christian Teens:
Sometimes overcoming sin can seem like it is an insurmountable obstacle. Sin can also make Christian teens feel very alone. However, God is always there to guide you through temptations and to forgive your sin. That is not to say that letting go of sinful ways is easy...it is actually very hard. Yet trying to go it alone is actually much harder than allowing God to be your comfort and your Guide. Like last week's verse, let God be the shoulder you lean on when it is tough and as you struggle to let your sin go.
