One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.
Memory Verse:
Psalm 55:17 - "Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice."(NIV)
Application for Christian Teens:
Praying is an amazing way to relieve our stress, sorrows, and unhappiness. Often Christian teens turn to friends, family members, and leaders when things get difficult. However, the first place we should turn is the One with the biggest shoulders to cry on - God. Sometimes Christian teens think that God is some symbol and that He is to busy with the "important" things to deal with their small problems, but God is there to hear everything. He listens and cares about everything you have to say - no matter how trivial you may think it is. Take some time this week to reflect on Psalm 55:17 and let God know what you are thinking in your prayers.
