Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 22
Week 22

By , About.com Guide

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Matthew 22:37 - "Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’"(NLT)

Application for Christian Teens:

While many Christian teens may have heard this verse over and over again, it is an important verse to remember. Matthew 22:37 is Jesus' response to the question, "Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?" Jesus' answer reminds us that loving God comes from deep in our heart, soul, and mind. Sometimes we forget to tell God that we love Him, so take some time this week to express that love in your prayers.
