Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 13
Memory Verse Week 13

By Kelli Mahoney, About.com

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Ephesians 2:13 - "And you were far from God. But Christ offered his life's blood as a sacrifice and brought you near God" (CEV)

Application for Christian Teens:

One of the underlying tenets of the Christian faith is that Christ died on the cross for our sins. It was a way for us to grow closer to God rather than be turned away for the things we do against God. It is easy for Christian teens to get caught up in the world and resent the things God asks of them. However, God asks things of each of us, and in the end, He has our best interests at heart. It is through Christ's sacrifice that we are even able to honor God today.
