Christian Teens' Memory Verse of the Week 12
Memory Verse Week 12

By Kelli Mahoney, About.com

One great way for Christian teens to grow in their faith is to memorize and apply Bible verses to their lives. While Christians should be reading their Bibles every day, memorizing Bible verses is a great way to incorporate what you read into your daily life.

Memory Verse:

Hebrews 3:12 - "My friends, watch out! Don't let evil thoughts or doubts make any of you turn from the living God." (CEV)

Application for Christian Teens:

Some Christian teens worry that the doubts they have surrounding their faith make them less of a Christian. However, having doubts allows you to explore and grow deeper into your beliefs. We all strive to have that perfect faith in which there is never a doubt or question as to any Christian principle, but just about every Christian has a doubt or a question about their faith now and then. It is more important to look closely at your doubt and address it with a leader, pastor, or parent so you can get answers to your question rather than letting the doubt fester and turn you away from God.
