A Simple Prayer for Teachers

There are few people more important to a teen's growth than those who educate them, so saying a prayer for your teachers should be a regular part of your prayer life. Teachers not only give us information on science, math, reading, etc.

Just like youth leaders, they often are the ones we turn to for guidance or direction. Saying a prayer for your teachers offers them blessings, whether they are fellow Christians or not.

A Prayer for Teachers

Lord, thank you so much for all the blessings you have provided in my life. I ask you to extend those same blessings to the people I see every day in school- my teachers. Lord, let them teach me well and let them never lose their heart for their students.

Lord, I ask that you make yourself a part of their lives whether they believe or not. Let them be examples of your light to others. Also, if they have hardships in their own lives, I ask that you provide for them and their families.

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to learn from so many different people. Thank you for allowing my teachers in my life to reach out to me and help me grow in so many ways. I thank you for the freedom to learn and for giving my teachers the desire to be those that educate me. I ask your continued blessings. In your holy name, Amen.
