Bible Verses About Self-Worth

Scriptures on Confidence and Self-Worth for Christian Teens

"I can do all through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13, NIV)

The Bible actually has quite a bit to say about self-confidence, self-worth, and self-respect. The Good Book informs us that self-worth is given to us from God. He provides us with strength and all that we need to live a godly life.

When we're looking for direction, it helps to know who we are in Christ. With this knowledge, God gives us the self-assurance we need to walk the path he has provided for us.

As we grow in faith, our confidence in God grows. He is always there for us. He is our strength, our shield, and our helper. Growing closer to God means growing more confident in our beliefs.

The version of the Bible where each quote comes from is noted at the end of each item. Versions cited include: Contemporary English Version (CEV), English Standard Version (ESV), King James Version (KJV), New American Standard Bible (NASB), New International Version (NIV), New King James Version (NKJV), and New Living Translation (NLT).
