Proverbs 21:5 - "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty."" (NIV)

Look before you leap is a common phrase, but there is a good reason. Sometimes we tend to take action on things before we really think them through. In some circumstances the consequence is just a little embarrassment to ourselves, but in others people often get hurt.

One thing God asks us to be is diligent. This means giving our actions due attention. Sometimes we can be told we over think things, but if we truly want to do things well, we have to think before we act. Does that mean life can't be full of spontaneity? No, but being diligent does mean being smart. It's amazing how much giving our actions a few extra seconds of thought can make a change in our lives.

I love this! It was right on time and confirmation for me! I believe everyone has the right to think about an offer or an opportunity before making a decision, big or small. Sometimes the decision can affect you in ways you do not see, that is why seeking God and being REAL with yourself is imperative! Thank you for allowing God to use you to put this on the internet! God bless you and may he continue to lead you!
