What Are Your Plans for New Year's Eve?
Some youth groups offer New Year's Eve celebrations as an alternative to teen parties that could involve pressure to drink, do drugs, etc. Other Christian teens prefer to spend the night with their parents or with a few friends, ringing in the New Year without the big brouhaha. Still, there are also the types that go to sleep early and don't really care.
Which one are you? Do you see the New Year as a time to celebrate renewal or do you see it as just another day of the year?
Poll: I ring in the New Year by...- Going to my church celebration with lots of youth group kids, noisemakers, music, games, prayer for the New Year, and all the fun we can handle.
- Doing the big party, with lots of people, noisemakers, etc. It's like Times Square...but here!
- Hanging out with friends. Just a small group of us chowing down on some snacks and watching the New Year's Eve shows on TV.
- Hanging out with family, eating snacks, playing games, and watching the New Year's Eve shows on TV.
- Sleeping. New Year's Eve is soooo overrated.
