Are You An Honest Person?

Most Christian teens probably think of themselves as pretty honest people. Yet many of us find it very difficult to be totally truthful with a friend. Sometimes we are afraid of hurting people's feelings. Other times we just don't want to deal with conflict. Yet, the Bible tells us that honesty is not only important, but helps to define good character. Jesus was honest with those around Him, and look at His following! Still, honesty usually isn't received well without tact. Take some time this week to reflect on how honest you really are with your friends, and maybe examine how you can be a more truthful person in your everyday life.
